About us
Freedom High School (Orlando) competes in Class 7A District 4. FHS is dedicated to academic excellence and the development of well-rounded student-athletes. We seek a passionate Head Football Coach committed to building a year-round program focused on student-athlete accountability, strength and conditioning, football IQ, and program building on the JV and Varsity Level.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive football program while fostering accountability and academic success among student-athletes.
- Enhance athletic performance through effective strength and conditioning initiatives.
- Prepare athletes for NCAA and NAIA opportunities, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
- Engage with the community to boost support and morale for the program, including leading fundraising initiatives.
- Collaborate with athletic and school staff to ensure the overall success of student-athletes both on and off the field.
- Proven coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level, with strong leadership, communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive team culture.
