Wildlife Control Technician

Freedom Pest Control, founded in 1993, focuses on delivering exceptional service while building lasting relationships with our customers. Our wildlife management division specializes in humane and effective solutions for nuisance wildlife control. We are currently seeking a Wildlife Control Technician to join our team and help make a difference for homeowners and businesses.

This role combines hands-on problem-solving, technical skills, and customer education in a rewarding and supportive environment.

What You'll Do:

As a Wildlife Control Technician, you will:

• Provide humane wildlife removal services, including trapping and exclusion to prevent wildlife reentry.
• Perform exclusion work by sealing entry points with materials like wire mesh, steel wool, and foam.
• Educate customers on how to make their homes less attractive to wildlife.
• Inspect attics, basements, crawl spaces, and roofs to assess and resolve wildlife issues.
• Work in attics removing insulation.
• Use ladders and tools to complete tasks in elevated spaces safely.
• Work on roofs to seal entry points or install mechanical devices for animal removal.

What Makes a Successful Candidate?

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working outdoors and tackling hands-on challenges.
• Has a positive, can-do attitude and isn't afraid to get a little dirty.
• Is comfortable using basic tools and solving problems on the go.
• Is physically capable of using ladders (up to 275 lbs.), lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces.
• Possesses basic carpentry skills and strong attention to detail.
• Values excellent customer service and education.

Qualifications

Candidates must be physically capable of safely performing the following job duties:

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
