What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hourly Supervisor position at Fresh Ideas Management?
As a Supervisor for our team at Maryville University in Saint Louis, MO, you will work under the guidance and instruction of the Director of Dining Services and Chefs, responsible for overall service execution within the main dining room, healthcare, personal care, and special functions.
We are looking for Foodservice Supervisors for our Retail Space and Dining Hall. The expected hours for each position are 10am to 9pm for the Retail Space, and 11am to 8pm for our Dining Hall. This position requires weekday and weekend availability during these timeframes.
Responsibilities:
- Properly execute the philosophy of the community and its foundations, as well as Fresh Ideas.
- Conduct pre-meal service meetings for all staff members
- Ensure execution of quality meals and dining experience, directly supervising service personnel
- Execute special function events and weekly meetings
- Assist in menu and recipe planning and development
- Aid in coordination of supply acquisition aligned with budgetary guidelines and menu cycles
- Preparation of food items, following a scheduled menu and recipes
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Assist preparation for inspections
- Implement programs to improve service, seasonal decoration, and monotony breaks
- Maintain relations with all clients, supervisors, team members, and all other departments
- Support and promote professional growth and development of team members
