Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Welding Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all welding processes comply with industry standards and regulations, particularly focusing on quality assurance and management systems. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our products and ensuring adherence to CGMP, FDA regulations, and ISO 13485 standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of welded components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Perform quality audits on welding processes, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines to assess weld integrity and dimensions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement effective quality systems that meet regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, audits, and compliance assessments in accordance with company policies.
- Provide training and guidance to welding personnel on best practices for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.
- Stay current with advancements in welding technology, CGMP guidelines, and relevant regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Welding Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and techniques.
- Familiarity with CGMP, FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and other relevant quality management systems.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail for conducting thorough inspections.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and provide training as needed.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
