Job Description:
The primary function of this role is to develop and grow the precision ag technology market by identifying and selling to both strategic customers and smaller scale growers/customers.
Sales Specialists are responsible for achieving their quarterly and annual sales targets and growing the Dealer’s market share in the Trade Area.
Dealer Sales Specialists must be proficient in the use of the product and have experience in agriculture or related industries.
Primary Duties
- Sourcing and developing self-generated leads and appointments with potential customers
- An excellent understanding of the Ag market and a good network within distribution is a prerequisite.
- “Get the sale” using various customer sales methods (door-to-door, cold calling, presentations, etc.)
- Forecast sales, develop “out of the box” sales strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
- Evaluate customers skills, needs and build productive long lasting relationships
- Meet personal and team sales targets
- Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads
- Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
- Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
