As a Fire Alarm/Security Sales Representative, you must build a pipeline of new customers to sell company products and services while maintaining relationships with existing customers. As part of the sales team, you are responsible for all aspects of sales, including generating leads, communicating with customers, and building quotes.

POSITION SUMMARY
Outside Sales representatives drive sales within the organization through phone calls, emails, and in-person appointments. Associates are responsible for increasing sales by building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers. The duties of an Outside Sales Representative may include identifying prospective customers, following up on potential sales leads, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. The Outside Sales Representative is the engine of FSS Technologies; successful sales associates drive the business forward by selling the company's products and services.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES · Outside Sales Representatives must always practice good verbal and written communication skills to identify and understand customers' product or service needs.
- Outside Sales Representatives are required to build and maintain a network through which they can identify new sales leads.
- Associates must make at least 150 calls and 15 appointments per week.
- Demonstrate an understanding of products and services by accurately quoting reoccurring services and small projects.
- Demonstrating customer satisfaction by ensuring ongoing communication and follow-up throughout the quoting and post-sale process.
- Hand-delivering proposals to customers.
- The sales team is responsible for at least 15 minutes of training daily.
- Correctly filling and sending contracts via DocuSign.
- Working with operations to meet customers' needs by providing information promptly.
- Responsible for keeping CRM (Customer Relationship Management) up to date with sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Driver's License and good driving record.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent plus 3 years of experience required, OR Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- Required travel up to 20% of the time.
