Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a variety of corporate financial reports, including financial statements, SEC filings, regulatory reports, and benefit plan documents.
- Analyze financial results and account balances to identify and communicate significant variances to management.
- Support projects involving the implementation of new accounting standards, process automation, control improvements, and other initiatives that aid executive decision-making.
- Gain a deep understanding of the company's industry, business segments, and operations to assist in the financial reporting process.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Solid understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- High level of dependability, attention to detail, initiative, professionalism, and interpersonal abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in public accounting.
- CPA certification (or a willingness to pursue if not yet attained).
- MBA or Master’s degree in Accounting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,500.00 - $90,000.00 per year
