Job Description:
Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to residents and helping them maintain their dignity and comfort? We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will assist residents in their daily living activities, ensuring their well-being while supporting them in achieving their highest practicable level of functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to residents to ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral care.
- Follow the care plan for each resident to ensure their needs are met.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents, ensuring rooms are clutter-free and comfortable.
- Assist with mobility and transfer of residents as necessary.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Follow all protocols and documentation requirements for care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing team or management.
Qualifications:
- Current CNA certification in good standing with the State of Oregon is required.
- Must maintain certification throughout employment.
- Meet all State and Federal requirements, including 12 hours of in-service education annually.
- Ability to read, write, and follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Recent clinical hours or educational experience required.
- A compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of our residents.
