Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable General Laborer for powder coating work in Madera,
CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing parts with a
high attention to detail while ensuring the work area is clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
● Preparing surfaces: Cleaning, degreasing, and sandblasting the surface of the product
● Applying coating: Using a spray gun to apply the powder coating evenly
● Curing the coating: Putting the product in an oven to melt the powder and create a hard,
protective layer
● Quality control: Inspecting the finished product to ensure it meets the client's
specifications and is free of defects
● Loading parts: Loading parts onto racks for finishing
● Maintaining work areas: Keeping the work area clean and organized
● Changing hanging patterns: Changing the hanging patterns as needed
● Hanging color tags: Hanging color tags for paint color changes
● Sanding and correcting parts: Sanding and/or correcting parts as needed
Qualifications:
● Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for tracking and logging work.
● Work Ethic: We are looking for candidates who are reliable, show up every day, and are
committed to doing quality work.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to lift and move samples and materials as needed (up to 50 lbs).
● Capacity to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
