Med-Surg - Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Department: Nursing - Med-Surg
Status Hours: Full-time, 72 hours bi-weekly
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Includes: Weekend & holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LPN will:
- Provide routine nursing care to selected patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Utilize clinical knowledge and independent judgment to deliver individualized patient care.
- Maintain accountability for their own nursing care and care delegated to others, ensuring adherence to ethical and legal standards.
- Effectively communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the state of Ohio.
- Completion of an approved course in medication administration.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development with a minimum of 24 CEUs every two years, including two pediatric-related CEUs per license renewal period for Med-Surg.
- Strong clinical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and a passion for direct patient care.
