Summary:
The Facility Coordinator supports the Director of Operations in maintaining safe, functional, and visually appealing campus facilities and grounds. This includes performing minor repairs, coordinating larger projects, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular exterior and interior maintenance (e.g., landscaping, repairs, painting).
- Conduct weekly campus inspections to identify and address issues.
- Manage maintenance requests and oversee contractor projects.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
- Assist in budgeting, recordkeeping, and facility documentation.
- Communicate regularly with leadership on maintenance updates.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; experience in facilities maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, painting, and landscaping.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; valid FL driver’s license and insurance.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and respond to emergencies as needed.
Working Conditions:
Primarily outdoor and on-campus work with physical activity. Reasonable accommodations available.
