Furniture Delivery/Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items ensuring proper handling of all materials.
• Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Maintain accurate delivery records.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.

Skills

• Proficiency in driving various types of vehicles, including commercial box trucks.
• Experience with heavy lifting and the ability to handle physical demands of the job.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients during deliveries.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining quality standards.
