Responsibilities

● Owning and documenting all data models across the organization.● Building reports for stakeholders using data from various sources.● Architecting our data strategy in partnership with the CTO.● Developing pipelines, warehouses and dashboards as needed to achieve our strategy.● Obtaining new insights from our data through analytics.● Assisting other teams (eg. Engineering) to improve the way their data is modelled.

Qualifications

● You are organised and a fast learner● You have experience in cloud development● You have hands on experience managing and developing databases such as● PostgreSQL, MySQL and Bigquery● You have a deep proficiency, and at least 2 years experience in data engineering● You have strong experience with Python, RESTful APIs, Git and modern authorisation mechanisms● You have experience architecting and developing data pipelines and warehouses.● Experience with analytics is desirable.● University degree is desirable.
