What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Intern position at G&L Tube, LLC?
G & L Tube, LLC, a subsidiary of O'Neal Industries, is searching for a dedicated, team oriented employee for our Quality department. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this is an excellent Part-Time opportunity for someone aspiring to grow into a career in a manufacturing Quality department.
Job Description:
- Assist the Quality department personnel (including the Quality Manager) with documentation and planning for projects as they arise.
- Facilitate the entry and restoration of IQM content.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
Qualifications:
- Requires a HS Diploma.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing an Associates or Bachelor’s degree.
- Interns may work up to 30 hours per week during the semester (25-30 hours preferred)
- Proficient computer skills and aptitude needed
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
- Must be able to lift and move objects up to 75 pounds consistently with heavier weight necessary at times
