Diagnostic Service Functions Engineer
Develop diagnostic service functions to be used globally in support of Dealers/Customers. Interface with Product Engineering to understand new system requirements and implement robust Open Test Exchange (OTX) routines. Review Part-II documents to understand required Data Service routines to be implemented.
· Have the ability to read and interpret CAN data in support of application debug process Manage and understand CAN data to support application development / debug.
· Interface with Module supplier to ensure service functions are implemented properly
· Implement Module DID's to support datalogger as a diagnostic solution.
· Validate solutions using both simulation and on vehicle validation.
· Respond to field issues with urgency - compete like a challenger.
Skills Required:
· Knowledge of programming concepts (Boolean flags, loops, byte operations, etc.)
· Familiar with vehicle systems
Skills Preferred:
· Strong Program Management skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work with global teams to communicate and agree on desired outcomes.
Experience Required:
· Dealership experience, or previous software programming experience
Education Required:
· Will consider candidate with related experience
Education Preferred:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Science, or Mathematics
