What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Controls Engineer position at G-TECH Services?
Rotating Shift; 1 year, extendable contract
- Responsible for controls engineering & electrical support, controls modifications and continuous improvement of production processes
- Provide technical support and direction to maintenance and other technical employees within the organization; maintain regular contact with partners outside of direct work group
- Evaluate or monitor expenditures for processes and/or equipment
- Lead activities related to TIP (Throughput Improvement Process)
- Design Tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements
- Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and standard methodologies
- Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans; track corrective actions
- Enforces safe work practices as the highest priority
Requirements:
· 3 years of Controls experience
· Rockwell and Siemens experience
· Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering.
· Ability to adapt and work with
Fanuc robots, IR Vision on the robots is nice to have.
Salary : $50 - $74
