We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Workers to provide essential support and care to individuals in need. Galilee Mission is a residential and outpatient substance use treatment organization providing person-centered, evidence based client care. Our residential clients consist of males over the age of 18. We are 40 years strong and growing! Galilee Mission believes that recovery is possible.

Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for ensuring safe operations.
2. Safeguard all Mission properties and surrounding grounds from potential emergency situations, i.e. fire, electric overload, flooding, potential injury to patients and staff by practicing harm reduction.
3. Adhere to house policies and procedures and assure that residents do the same.
4. Assist in driving residents to appointments, AA meetings and other destinations as required.
5. Attend group/individual clinical supervision meetings and bi-monthly staff meetings.
6. Maintain a professional environment.
7. Be a role model for all residents.
8. Obtain urine and breathalyzer screenings as delegated by the Supervisor. Assure they are tamper proof and recorded correctly.
9. Complete written reports as required by other systems regarding clients status and/or progress.
10. Complete a log entry for each shift worked detailing any situations that may have arisen during the shift.
11. Complete clear & concise incident reports to document incidents unbiasedly and with as much detail as possible.
12. Administer medications to residents as required and document its administration.
13. Undergo random breathalyzer and or urine screens upon request.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Must have a high school diploma or GED.
· Must be able to decelerate an emotional situation thorough verbal communication as evidenced through practice with the clinical supervisor and overnight supervisor.
· Must have the abillity to learn the E.H.R. System and document all client and incident interactions in various parts of the software.
· Must maintain CPR and First Aid certification as required by state regulations.
· If in recovery, must have been through a treatment program and be clean and sober more than two years.
· BCI and NCIC immediately upon hire
