- Utilize advanced technology and software to monitor and manage shipments, track inventory, and optimize routes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, production, and sales, to ensure seamless logistics operations.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to schedule deliveries, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including safety and environmental guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including shipping records, invoices, and customs paperwork.
- Assist in the development and implementation of logistics policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics coordination, preferably within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in logistics software and technology, including transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
