Coffee Supervisor

Join our team as a Barista Supervisor and lead by example in delivering exceptional guest service! You’ll ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming coffee corner while preparing drinks and food to Starbucks standards. You’ll train and mentor new staff, manage inventory, and collaborate with the Food Service Manager to keep operations running smoothly. Location: Kissing Camels Coffee in Garden of the Gods Trading Post

Compensation: $18.50-22.00 an hour plus tips.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional guest service by greeting, acknowledging, and maintaining high standards with solid product knowledge.
• Make sure the department is clean, organized and guest ready on a daily basis
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures through regular store management and staff meetings, store walk-through and audits, etc.
• Make drinks to meet the Starbucks standard and fulfill the requests of the guest.
• Serve ice cream and other food items in compliance with set portion control, and ensure others are doing the same.
• Provide training to new staff members on proper Starbucks drink standards, customer service, and health & safety standards.
• Act as a positive role model for fellow staff members.
• Place orders with suppliers based on inventory needs, sales forecasts, and seasonal changes.
• Work with the Food Service Manager to keep menu item pricing up to date with food and beverage cost parameters.
• Collaborate with the Food Service Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the coffee corner runs efficiently.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
• Lead and cultivate a positive, energetic coffee shop culture that fosters teamwork, motivates staff, and enhances the customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Previous work experience as a Barista supervisor (1 year preferred)
• Prior experience as Starbucks barista, preferred
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Basic math skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail oriented
