What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and lead the caregiving team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to residents.
- Administer medications and oversee medication management systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Monitor and manage resident care plans, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure each resident receives the care they need.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining documentation, reporting, and following all health and safety guidelines and best practices.
- Train and support new QMAPs and caregiving staff, ensuring they understand medication administration procedures and care protocols.
- Coordinate staffing schedules, ensuring there is adequate coverage for all shifts and managing staffing needs.
- Provide hands-on care when needed, including assisting with daily living activities, medication administration, and resident wellness checks.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve operational efficiencies and ensure smooth facility operations.
- Assist with family communication, ensuring family members are kept informed about their loved ones' care and well-being.
- Ensure that all staff members provide compassionate, respectful, and professional care to every resident.
What We’re Looking For:
- QMAP certification with a minimum of 2 years of experience in senior care or a similar healthcare role.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and support a diverse team.
- In-depth knowledge of medication management, care planning, and regulatory requirements for assisted living facilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with staff, residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

- Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and a calm demeanor.
