The Endoscopy Center of Ocala and Gastroenterology Associates have been a part of the Ocala/Summerfield/ Villages community for many years! We are well established with 19 quality providers (a mix of physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners)
We are looking for a career minded individual who can work as a team member in our billing department. The position is based in our main Ocala office.
As the right candidate, you will have the opportunity to leverage your personal skills to interact with patients and teammates while utilizing your experience in multiple areas of billing and collections.
In order to be qualified for this role we will require:
- Minimum of three (3) years of verifiable Medical Insurance / Healthcare Billing and collections experience.
- Thorough understanding of billing, collections, and payment posting, electronic remittance and EOBs.
- Working knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes, HIPAA, billing and insurance regulations, medical terminology, insurance benefits, and appeal processes.
- Experience working with electronic health records and billing systems.
Preferred: Associate degree or higher in business administration or related field.
