Summary
Gateway Academy is a private Christian school located in Miramar Beach. As a Substitute Teacher, you will be instrumental in maintaining a productive learning environment while supporting students in their educational journey. Applicants should have experience working with children. This is a full-time position through the end of the school year. The hours are Monday - Friday, 7:15 am - 3:15 pm. Applicants must be willing to complete all required background screenings and mandatory school-based/informational training before working in the classrooms.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage classroom activities to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Engage with students to foster a positive atmosphere and encourage participation.
- Implement lesson plans and adapt them as necessary to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and classroom dynamics.
- Provide support and guidance to students, particularly those with special needs or requiring additional assistance.
