FOUNDATION PROGRAM COORDINATOR - REMOTE

The GBTA Foundation is a mission-driven organization poised for growth, and we’re looking for a Program Coordinator to join our passionate, agile, and supportive team. The Program Coordinator would join a nimble, collaborative team that is supportive and fun to work with.


The Foundation Programs Coordinator assists the Director, Foundation Programs, in various aspects of program development, operational execution and program administrative support with Foundation People Programs. This role will assist the Director in building and managing People Program initiatives. This role will need strong communications, project management, administrative, and event management skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Support internal and external meetings on Foundation-related topics, assist in developing meeting materials, and participate in the meeting to capture key discussion points and follow-on actions.
  • Support engagement and communications activities with program volunteers, partners and experts – including scheduling calls, sending emails, and preparing summary reports and presentations.
  • Helping with the programming and organization of events and award programs – including the liaison with speakers, award recipients and volunteers.
  • Monitor, analyze, and summarize developments relevant to the content of the programs.
  • Prepare written materials, respond to information requests and help coordinate and track activities of the community collaboration team.
  • Apply excellent organizational, communication, and planning skills by responding to requests for information, helping to coordinate activities and projects for the team and preparing correspondence as needed.
  • Work with team on reaching internal OKRs goals.
  • Manage other administrative tasks associated with staff, including logistics, office needs, and telecommunications.
  • Assist with project management, operations fulfillment, speaker management, and on-site management of sustainability related events.
  • Liaison with GBTA members, Committees, and other key stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience. Superior organization skills, and an ability to manage multiple projects in a super-fast paced environment.
  • Experienced and persuasive presenter capable of conducting compelling virtual and in-person presentations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  • Strong technical skills, including cloud-based systems.  Must have a high level of skills in MS Office Suite (including Microsoft Teams).
  • US based, remote.



PREFFERED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS


  • Association and/or travel industry knowledge preferred.
  • Multi-lingual is a plus.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT


  • GBTA is currently fully remote.
  • Prolonged periods sitting/remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to remain stationary and move for long periods of time, during events.
  • Must be able to work a variety of hours in order to accommodate various meetings and events.

TRAVEL REQUIRED


  • Up to 5% of travel to events and meetings; based on organizational needs.
