Goldman, Clearfield & Ocampo, LLP, an established, thriving, full-service CPA firm located in Columbia, MD, provides tax, consulting and business accounting services to a diverse client base. Our expertise ranges from tax management, audit and accounting services to more in-depth services such as financial statements, business acquisition and financial planning.
Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a dedicated team player with 1 years of recent public accounting experience to lead audit, tax and accounting engagements for a diverse client base of small to mid-size, privately held businesses and non-profit organizations. Working directly with clients, you will primarily assist with audit engagements including the preparation of financial statements, compilations and reviews. In addition, you will prepare individual and business tax returns including multi-state and trust & estate returns; complete complex tax research and planning while ensuring compliance and develop and cultivate professional client relationships.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
· CPA license or CPA candidate
. Recent income tax return preparation experience required
· Strong communication, organizational, analytical, client service and computer skills including Microsoft Excel and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks and ProSystem fx software proficiency are a plus)
· Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and thrive working both independently and in a team-oriented office environment
· Prior experience with non-profit or trust & estate returns is a plus
