This is a pivotal role aimed at ensuring the proper development and integration of optimization efforts towards the implementation of IoT infrastructure technologies and the inclusion of proactive maintenance capabilities. The ideal candidate will oversee the technical approach and roadmap to meet the customer’s needs and align with the business strategies and goals. This includes designing data infrastructure strategies, including the overall enterprise approach for a data management framework, data security, and compliance. This position is essential for someone who can pass a customer background check for access to facilities, equipment, and property and is open to obtaining necessary certifications within 90 days of hire. This opportunity is for a full-time position with a preference given to candidates with DoD or Federal Government experience.

Responsibilities
- Assist stakeholders in developing and maintaining the overall data architecture strategy and roadmap.
- Perform technical oversight, quality assurance, and manage risks, issues, and gaps in solution architecture and delivery.
- Design and implement data models, data integration processes, and data storage solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Define and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Evaluate and select appropriate data management tools, technologies, and techniques to support the organization's data architecture.
- Lead the design and implementation of data warehouses, data marts, and other data repositories.
- Develop and maintain data standards, data dictionaries, and data lineage documentation.
- Must be able to pass a customer background check for access to facilities, equipment, and property.
- Certification at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) I level preferred (e.g., A CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network CE, SSCP) or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Computer Programming, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
- Minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
- Preference given to candidates with DoD or Federal Government experience.
- Strong understanding of data architecture strategies, including data management frameworks, data security, and compliance.
- Experience in designing and implementing data models, data integration processes, and data storage solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Azure preferred, yet AWS or GCP experience is also valuable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with business stakeholders and the technical team.
