Role Description:
We are seeking reliable and technically proficient Medical Billers and Medical Coders (Remote) for a full-time remote position. In this role, you will support major national hospital systems and enhance the capabilities of our machine counterparts. Responsibilities include ensuring the accurate assignment of diagnostic and procedural codes to patient records and maintaining compliance with coding guidelines. This role demands critical thinking, meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and participation in daily coding audits and training sessions.
Qualifications:
• Looking people asap with Birthing Center experience, anywhere.. US or off shore but can speak clearly and at least 2/3 yes of that specific experience. (Required-2 years exp).
• Coding certification Required
• Proven experience in medical coding and billing terminology (5 Years)
• Hospital Denial Management Experience Desired (5 Years)
• 5 years of experience with hospital coding and billing (Required)
• Knowledge of Health Information Management
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in coding
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Familiarity with medical billing and reimbursement processes
• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II coding systems
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• HIPPA Certification Desired but ability to clear after joining.
