What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Technician position at General MRO Aerospace INC?
Description
Essential Duties:
- Performs maintenance including cleaning of working areas
- Conduct tests and periodic inspections.
- Follows operating rules (SOP’s Standard Operating Procedures), policies and regulations
- Monitors the tram and follows up with inspections and alarm indicators (i.e. listen for abnormal noises etc.)
- In the event of breakdowns: diagnose the problem, fix and repair as needed.
Requirements
Skill, Qualifications & Experience
- Previous technical experience as electrical technician
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English. Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines, manage a large volume of communication and be a team player.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities for moderately complex issues.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer literate. and proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word and Excel)
- Strong analytical and decision making skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking in order to make judgment calls
- Ability to prioritize and to work without close supervision.
- Ability to read prints, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electric and mechanical machinery
