WOUND CARE NURSE (RN or LPN) – Full-Time – Generations at Rock Island, Illinois
Are you seeking a stable, salaried job with regular weekday hours? Generations at Rock Island in Rock Island, IL, has an Immediate Full-time Opening for a Wound Care Nurse to work primarily Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. Will need to take Call one week a month. We will assist with Certification!
Salary range is $79-89 per year based on experience, RN or LPN and Wound Care Certification.

Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse:
- Skin evaluation for pressure sore prevention
- Medication application to existing wounds
- Educate patients to care for their own wounds
- Care for patient's surgical incisions, any pressure sores or any wounds caused from disease or injury

Requirements
Wound Care Nurse:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), licensed from the State of Illinois (note: IL does not accept Compact licenses)
- Wound Care Certification (WCC) or ability to complete certification
- Wound Care experience and training
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
- Personable and professional with residents and families
- On Call one time per month
