General Energy Services, d/b/a Genergy is seeking a full time bookkeeper to join our team in Long Island City, New York. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field and a high attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing multiple companies within QuickBooks
- Assist controller in various duties, including job costing, cash management, financial reporting and tax preparation
- Preparing weekly payroll
- Corresponding with vendors regarding accounts payable
- Assisting the operations team
- Make check deposits into bank accounts daily
- Prepare financial reports to be provided to management.
- Maintain an orderly accounting system.
- Ensure financial data is entered accurately and correctly.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Highly detail oriented with a strong attention to detail.
- 1 year of related work experience.
- Experience using QuickBooks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
