What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Rep position at Georgia Metals?
Company Overview: Georgia Metals is a multi-state, regional manufacturer of metal roofs and steel buildings. We have recently invested additional manufacturing capacity as we begin to increase our focus on steel buildings. We are looking for an experienced metal buildings sales associate to work in concert with our growing support and production team to drive growth.
Duties:
- Engage and close inbound leads for commercial and residential steel building solutions
- Understand potential customer product needs and tailor specific offerings to meet those needs
- Prospect key industry touch points (e.g., installation companies) regarding their sourcing partners, positioning Georgia Metals as a solution
- In concert with other internal team members, provide single point of contact during the sales life cycle, ensuring design and manufacturing meet customer expectations
- Partner with internal and external team members to develop and refine our steel building offering through sourcing partnerships and improvements to our related marketing collateral
Skills:
- Proven experience in outside sales for steel buildings or related field
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Metal Building Systems software or similar product knowledge
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Business development mindset with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities
