What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative- Sales position at Geospace Technologies?
As a customer service representative, you will work with customers to ensure a smooth sales process from first contact through order shipment. You will need to demonstrate excellent service and professionalism with customers via webstore interactions, emails, phone calls and zoom. You will also help quote, develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to customers.
The ideal candidate will have a high school education with at least 1 year experience. You must possess excellent communication skills and follow through. You need to have the ability to multitask and work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customers email request
- Responsible for product knowledge to answer customer questions
- Responsible for quoting, order entry and follow up of orders
- Coordinate ship dates and service issues through manufacturing
- Work with accounting to establish credit terms
Use excellent oral and written communication when interacting with customers
- Possess excellent customer service skills – be friendly!
- Excellent oral and written communication skill

- Must be coachable
- Proficient use of Word and Excel
