Wire Cloth Man (WCM), a division of Gerard Daniel Worldwide (GDW), is a leader in the industrial wire cloth industry specializing in the commercial and agricultural product lines; in 2023 we joined the largest family of wire cloth companies in North America, GDW, which now allows WCM to be even more diversified while also giving us the resources to support every customer with the care they deserve.
We are expanding our sales force in Southeast Hoston (Hobby Airport area) and are currently looking for a Customer Service Professional to join our team. The Customer Service Professional effectively communicates customer needs across our internal teams, collaborates with customers to ensure 100% satisfaction, and supports WCM in capturing full share of wallet within their target customer group.
Responsibilities:
- Provide best of class Customer Service by responding to customers quickly and efficiently.
- Provide best of class Customer Service by collaborating with internal GDW team by utilizing internal systems (I2I, Infor CRM, Infor Visual) and leveraging GDW processes.
- Upsell existing customers by introducing GD products and services as well as developing relationships with Customers to help them know how GDW can support their growth.
- Create quotations for customers and prospects using Info Visual.
- Entering Customer orders into Info Visual.
- Maintaining a broad knowledge of customers’ needs relating to inventory, specifications, delivery expectations.
- Collaborates effectively with Procurement, Manufacturing, Business Development Managers, Inside Sales & Executives to drive forward industry leading product and service needs within defined strategic markets.
- Utilizes Infor CRM, Hubspot and other business tools to manage customer facing contacts and personal time, in effort to bring maximum utilization of GDW resources.
- Performs various other related or associated duties as assigned or as responsibilities necessitate
Requirements:
- Three years’ Customer Service Experience.
- Two years’ experience utilizing Customer Relationship Management software.
- Proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to deal efficiently and effectively with internal and external contacts.
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively under strict deadlines.
- Good mathematical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
