What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Boys Soccer Coach position at Gering Public Schools?
Gering Public Schools is seeking qualified candidates to serve as an Assistant Boys Coach for the upcoming Spring Soccer season.
Assistant coaches are responsible for supporting the head coach with program organization, conducting practices, motivating students, and instructing student athlets in game strategies and techniques. To perform this job successfully, an individual must possess general knowledge of the sport's rules and regulations, and be willing to promote an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and the value of education. Additionally, qualified candidates must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
In-district and out-of-town travel required as necessary for training and/or to carry out essential duties and responsibilities.
The Board of Education, in conjunction with the Superintendent and the Gering Education Association, annual review the compensation format and needs of our staff in order to keep a competitive pay structure in place.
