Job Overview

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to enhance our sales force. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to develop their career while making a significant impact. Your expertise in the restaurant or hospitality industry will be highly valued as you engage with clients in your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new leads through cold calling and face-to-face meetings.
  • Deliver tailored sales proposals to clients in the hospitality, industrial, and select commercial sectors.
  • Analyze client needs to provide personalized solutions.
  • Educate customers on our diverse offerings to cultivate interest and understanding.
  • Formulate and execute effective sales strategies to enhance performance.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure a competitive edge.
  • Develop and sustain robust relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
  • Conduct market research to remain informed about industry developments.
  • Negotiate terms with new and existing clients.
  • Maintain precise records of client interactions and sales leads using Google Docs.
  • Manage customer complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Be prepared for traveling approximately 60% of the time within your designated territory.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of two years of successful sales experience managing a territory, preferably within a B2B context.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building new business relationships and maintaining a solid client base.
  • Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective problem-solving capabilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
