Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Develop and implement mechanical engineering strategies and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure project success.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring timely delivery of engineering solutions.
• Conduct technical reviews and approve engineering designs, drawings, and documentation.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks in mechanical designs and projects.
• Stay informed of emerging technologies and trends in mechanical engineering to drive innovation.
• Recruit, train, and develop engineering staff to build a high-performing team.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the engineering department.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor software and other engineering tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Experience in industrial furnace industry.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
