Gillmann Services is now hiring an industrial painter in the Bluefield, VA area!
**Previous experience required**
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surface of materials and equipment for paint (cleaning, sandblasting, corrosion removal, etc.)
- Select correct paint and materials to match client order
- Mix and match paint colors and additives to meet customer specifications
- Use airless sprayer, rollers, other tools to apply consistent, even coat as directed
- Inspect painted surfaces to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow all shop safety and health standards
- Other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Must have industrial painting, airless sprayer experience
- Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50lbs for duration of shift
- Availability for overtime
- Attention to detail
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work with a team and independently
