Store Clerk

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Store Clerk. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent service to our customers while maintaining the store's operations. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced grocery store environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with inquiries and provide information about products and services.
• Process sales transactions accurately using cash registers and handle cash with care.
• Maintain an organized and clean store environment, including stocking shelves and arranging displays
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, ensuring clear communication and assistance
• Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a grocery store or retail sales environment is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience in cash handling is advantageous.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential traits for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
