Pet Bather

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and possess the skills necessary to provide excellent grooming services for pets. As a Pet Bather, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and cleanliness of our furry clients while delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners.

Duties

• Bathe, rinse, and dry pets according to established grooming standards.
• Brush and comb pets to remove tangles and mats.
• Inspect pets for any signs of skin issues, parasites, or other health concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized bathing area, including sanitizing equipment and tools.
• Assist in handling pets safely during bathing and grooming procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.
• Support the team with additional tasks as needed, including kennel maintenance and animal care.

Requirements

• Previous experience in animal handling or care is preferred (e.g., kennel work, pet sitting).
• Knowledge of basic animal behavior and restraint techniques.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
• Physical ability to lift and handle pets of various sizes safely.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.50 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
