In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued members, assisting with inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Member Support:
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and chat, addressing questions related to health insurance plans, coverage, claims, and billing.
- Provide clear, accurate, and timely information to customers.
- Problem Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve member issues, escalating complex cases as necessary.
- Follow up to ensure resolution and member satisfaction.
- Claims Assistance:
- Guide members through the claims process, explaining benefits and coverage details.
- Research claim status and discrepancies to provide resolutions.
- Plan Guidance:
- Assist members in selecting and understanding the best health insurance plans based on their needs.
- Educate customers on policy changes, benefits, and wellness programs.
- Compliance:
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Document member interactions in the system accurately and comprehensively.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 1β2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare, insurance, or a call center environment.
- Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
