Clinical Services Director - RN
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to take on the role of Clinical Services Director, ensuring the highest standards in patient care and compliance within our home health services. This role is pivotal in overseeing skilled nursing and personal care services for pediatric clients, and ideal candidates will bring prior experience in private duty nursing or Medicaid services.
Position Overview: The Clinical Services Director will coordinate and verify that client care is delivered according to established protocols and quality standards. They will compile and review reports on services provided and maintain consistent communication with agency leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving as the supervising nurse ensures client care services are directed, supervised, and coordinated effectively.
- Act as the primary contact during agency working hours and be accessible by telecommunication as needed.
- Oversee agency staff's development, qualification, and assignments, including guidance on disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Ensure the plan of care is executed as written, maintaining a consistent approach to patient treatment.
- Perform re-assessments of client needs, with timely re-evaluations and follow-ups conducted by an RN, especially during significant changes in health status, physician requests, or post-hospitalization.
- Conduct and oversee training for all nursing and home health aide staff, including orientation and ongoing in-service education.
Qualifications:
- Active RN licensure in Florida
- A minimum of one year of supervisory experience as a registered nurse, with demonstrated abilities in managing nursing staff and service delivery.
- Experience working with pediatric patients, ideally with knowledge of private duty nursing and Medicaid services.
