Compliance Officer Wanted for Car Dealerships in Virginia and Maryland!

We are looking for a highly experienced Compliance Officer to join our team at our car dealerships in Virginia and Maryland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, compliance, paralegal work, or dealership general management.

As a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our stores are in compliance with all state and dealer board regulations. You will also be responsible for handling customer complaints and working to maintain a pristine company reputation. This is a hybrid position that will require some work from home and some in-office updates with ownership.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with state and dealer board regulations
• Handling customer complaints and maintaining a positive company reputation
• Collaborating with management to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
• Keeping abreast of industry developments and regulations
• Coordinating with the legal team on compliance matters
• Maintaining accurate records of compliance activities

Requirements:

• HR, compliance, paralegal, or general manager experience is preferred
• Strong understanding of state and dealer board regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
