Job Title: Cleaner

We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Your role is essential to ensuring that our spaces remain tidy and hygienic, providing comfort and safety for everyone, especially children. Duties & Responsibilities

Cleaners have the following responsibilities:

• Thorough Cleaning: Clean and sanitize the interior of buildings, including doors, floors, rugs, windows, and walls.
• Disinfect High-Traffic Areas: Regularly disinfect commonly used surfaces such as exam tables, door handles, office furniture, and grab rails.
• Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are kept clean, stocked, and hygienic.
• Floor Care: Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Operate floor scrubbers and buffers as necessary.
• Trash & Recycling: Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, maintaining a clutter-free environment.
• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and chemicals, notifying the Supervisor when items are running low.
• Safety Awareness: Immediately notify supervisors of any unsafe conditions and ensure safety protocols are followed, especially when using cleaning chemicals.
• Child-Friendly Focus: Assist in maintaining clean and safe areas for children, ensuring that surfaces are sanitized and free from hazards.
• Other Tasks: Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education, Training & Certification

• Education: A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: On-the-job training is provided. Experience in cleaning, especially in environments with children, is preferred.
• Certifications: Opportunities for earning certifications in biohazard cleaning and other specialized areas are available.

• Safety Minded: Knowledge of and adherence to safety guidelines when using cleaning chemicals.
