Direct support professional ASL position
Global Hands Inc. is a licensed Developmental Disabilities
Administration service provider dedicated to providing distinct services for
persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We have individual
and community support services programs that promote the safety, dignity, and
independence of individuals who are staying at home or are under residential
services. We are currently looking for committed, PASSIONATE and dedicated
staff with experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and
developmental disabilities.
We are hiring American Sign Language Direct Support Professional
MD Multiple shifts - Working hours 60 per week
hours/ per week
9am-9pm- Mon-Fri
9pm-9am Mon-Fri
9am-9am- Sat-Sun Weekends

Job skills:
Education: High school diploma/GED preferred but not required. Must be able to read and write English. Basic use of computer skills and electronic device such as
tablet/laptop
Experience: 1 or more years in experience providing direct support to individuals with
intellectual and developmental disabilities. American Sign Language a Must (ASL)
Other requirement includes:
- Must know how to Sign(ASL)
- Valid driver’s license
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Current Maryland DDA Training Certifications
- CMT- Certified Medication Technician preferred
- Seizure training is a plus
- Ability to obtain and pass a background check
