What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Education position at Global Industries, Inc.?
The Director of Education is responsible for developing the overall direction and go market strategy for the Higher Education and K-12 markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Create and execute education national annual go to market strategy for Higher Education and K-12 segments.
- Work with Marketing team to create training and marketing materials.
- Train internal and dealer sales teams on education trends, product applications, and selling strategies
- Manage relationships with key national GPO education contracts
- Manage national and regional trade shows
- Team with sales teams on end user and A D sales calls. Support and assist in developing and closing sales opportunities
- Support company growth initiatives.
- Analyze product needs and provide guidance and input to develop essential new product solutions and assist in bringing to market.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military equivalent.
