Quality Management Specialist

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare quality measures resources for physicians, staff, and allied health professionals to support successful documentation and patient outreach initiatives; Work closely with Operations staff to disseminate.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders (operations, pharmacy, etc.) in facilitating performance improvement activities.
* Provide technical assistance to internal stakeholders to assist with meeting measure requirements (e.g., how to correctly document exclusions in or verify vaccines in the CA Immunization Registry).
* Routinely analyze health plan and internal care gap reports, identify opportunities for improvement in accurate data capture, identify opportunities for improving quality measures and collaborate with operations and clinical management in identifying
and implementing solutions.
* Provide routine updates and respond to inquiries from colleagues, senior management, and regulatory agencies on P4P/Value Based Improvement Programs (i.e., HMO and Accountable Care Organization (ACO) programs).
* Prepare quality program audit documents (e.g. policies and procedures and supplemental data).
* Organize centralized outreach support activities identifying all necessary reports, workflows, and patient lists needed for successful implementation.
* Contribute to the Quality Committees including achievement of population health and clinical quality and efficiency goals.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Experience:

• Healthcare: 2 years (Required)
• Quality Management: 1 year (Required)
