Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.
As a result of our expansion, we are looking for a Field Service Manager. The Field Service Manager will oversee our growing Field Service Team, which performs post-production warranty and upgrade work throughout the United States.
RESPONSIBILITES
-Coordinate scheduling for field service needs with Project Managers on Gen and MEC divisions.
-Provide required training for Field Service personnel as project needs evolve.
-Equip Field Service personnel with tools and equipment required for projects.
-Work with management team to develop hiring strategy to meet current demands and future business goals.
-Manage the tracking and maintenance of vehicle fleet and equipment used by Field Service Technicians.
QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 years’ experience in management of a customer service focused team
- Experience with managing a team of field service personnel covering a large geographical area preferred
- 5 years’ experience in management or hands on work in electrical, mechanical, and/or building construction
- A cool-headed nature: able to keep yourself, employees, and customers calm during stressful situations.
- A passion for developing employees professionally and looking out for their needs
