Global Service Resources, Inc.,a leading Healthcare staffing company has an opening for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at Los Angeles General Medical Center.
Pay Rate : $49-$50 / hr
Crisis Pay : $20 / hr (approved by the lA County on a month-to-month basis)
Hours : Evening 3pm - 11 : 30pm including rotating weekends and holidays
Night 11pm - 7 : 30am including rotating weekends and holidays.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for a variety of high-complexity, clinical laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology & Blood Bank. Perform QC / QA procedures, preventive maintenance & test validation. Review & report test results in accordance with laboratory standards. Maintain working knowledge of hospital & laboratory policies & procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid CLS license.
1 year of experience as CLS.
With Blood Bank experience.
The department would prefer the candidate to have experience in a level I trauma center, but it is not a requirement.
