What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telephone Operator position at Global Service Resources?
Global Service Resources is looking for a Phone Operator to join our team in Sylmar, CA.
Shift : Night shift 11pm-8am
Payrate : $24.50-$25 / hr
Primary responsibilities :
- Assist callers with general information and provide information on access for services
- Verbal overhead page for all Emergencies using the public address system.
- Verbal overhead page for all approved announcements using the public address system.
- Assist in conducting Fire Drills and notifying appropriate departments.
- Provide after hour customer service center support using information systems and reference documents to look-up department contact information. Includes providing pager numbers to In-House Network.
- Contact and Log on-call Administration, Medical Staff and Medical Center personnel at home, on pagers as needed
- Facilitate approved long distance and international calls for OVMC Personnel
- Activate Joint Commission Notification for OVMC.
- Assist in conducting Fire Drills and notifying appropriate departments
PROCESS EMERGENCY CALLS SUCH AS :
Support responsibilities :
Perform various clerical duties; including use of basic keyboarding skills in the preparations of documents or other reference materials.
Logs and keep record of equipment problems, long distance calls and incidental situations.
Provide various support and backup to the Staff and Supervisors of the Telecommunications Department
