Job Description:
Are you passionate about patient care and making a positive impact on people's lives? We're seeking a dedicated Dialysis Technician/PCT to join our team in East Cleveland, OH. As a Dialysis Technician/PCT, you'll play a crucial role in providing essential care to patients with kidney disease.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Accurately document patient information and treatment details.
- Assist with pre and post-dialysis patient assessments.
- Monitor and document dialysis treatment parameters.
- Report any significant changes in patient condition to the supervisor.
- Respond to emergency situations related to dialysis treatment, including initiating basic CPR measures.
Qualifications:
- Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility is preferred, but not required.
- Completion of a training course in hemodialysis theory and practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Education in physical sciences or training in laboratory techniques is preferred.
