Job Description:-
We are currently hiring for a Manufacturing Supervisor who oversees the daily operations the production facility, ensuring efficient production of high-quality wood products by managing a team of workers, monitoring quality control, and coordinating production schedules while adhering to safety regulations and company standards.
Note: This role will Assist the Plant Manager helping manage and coordinate people and production schedule across the factory.
Relevant Experience:
Several years of experience in a wood manufacturing or millwork production environment.
Proven track record of successfully managing a team of production workers.
Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
Production Management:
Plan and execute production schedules to meet customer deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
Assign tasks to the production crew based on skills and workload.
Monitor production processes to identify and address any quality issues or bottlenecks.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
Quality Control:
Ensure adherence to established quality standards for all wood products, including dimensions, finish, and appearance.
Conduct regular quality inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Train team members on proper quality control procedures.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate production reports, including quality metrics, efficiency rates, and production volumes.
Analyze production data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
Strong understanding of wood manufacturing processes, including sawing, milling, shaping, finishing, and assembly techniques.
Safety Awareness:
Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and practices within a wood manufacturing environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
